Favorite Baseball Teams: The Chicago Cubs!  I was a fan since a young age.  I got hooked on them because my older brother would watch the games all summer long.  I also love the independent baseball team of the town I live in: The Schaumburg Flyers! The smaller stadium gives it such a personal, hometown feel.  No matter where I sit, I am close to the game!

Favorite Baseball Player: Mike Piazza.  I discovered him years ago.  I've always been fascinated with catchers (probably, once again, influenced by my brother since he was a catcher) and Mike Piazza was one of the first catchers I noticed who also had a great bat!

Favorite Baseball Memory: My favorite baseball memory as a kid was playing baseball in the neighborhood with the other boys and girls.

But the best experience in baseball I have had was in October 2003.  I was chosen to participate in an historic 24-Hour women's baseball game to raise money for AIDS in Africa.  My part was to raise money for the organization

USDFA (I raised over $1500) and in return I was given two full days of professional baseball training, the opportunity to play in the 24-hour game in a minor league stadium, and I met John Denny and tried on his Arizona

Diamondbacks World Series ring!  Baseball Bling!  This was one of the best experiences of my life!

School: Illinois State University, Bachelor of Science Degree in Art

Other: I want to thank CW for introducing me to women's baseball when I didn't know it existed.  She asked me to join this team.  I was hooked, no questions asked.   I love this team and I love this game.
